1.       Get Amazon Echo Dot and For Alexa App Setup you’ll need Amazon Echo or Echo Dot to get your Amazon Echo device set up. Now simply open the app store that comes with your device and search “Alexa app”. Downloading the app on your computer, Smartphone’s or tablet.

2.       Now plug the included power adapter directly into the Echo, then hook it up to a power outlet. If the light ring turns blue, that means the power is connected. To Change the word simply tell the Echo, “Alexa, change the wake word.” You can also change the wake word “Alexa” manually by opening up the Alexa app.

Congratulations, now your Amazon Echo is all set up and ready to be used. To make sure everything’s working properly, you can test by trying out a few basic commands. Like, say the wake word and “Hello.” If your Echo is properly set up, Alexa should respond with a simple “Hello” in return.
